First Day Back

Q and L are officially in fourth and first grade! I was really excited for the school year to get going, but I have to say now that it's here...I miss them already.

Bandelier and Jemez Falls

Last weekend we went camping with some friends. We spent one night at Bandelier National Monument and hiked around the ruins. We later headed to Jemez and hiked to Jemez Falls - on the way to the falls we drove past Valles Caldera, which was amazing! My picture (below) certainly doesn't do it justice.

Backyard Beautification

Well, while the rest of you were having a blast in Lake Powell, we chose to toil away in our backyard. I think we'll opt for Lake Powell next time :)

Getting there may not have been the time of our lives, but we are SO happy to be done with it and we're looking forward to many hours of enjoyment! We could certainly use a little down time... after sunburns, sore muscles and several curse words uttered, we just want to hang out and enjoy R's vision of our backyard in the real!
